Brett Lane | President

After graduating from UGA in 2003 (Go Dawgs), Brett married his college sweetheart, and together he and Nicole founded Encore Advisors in 2007. Now he is grateful to lead this remarkable team as well as his three daughters (Kennedy, Blakely & Brecken). His passion is influencing leaders for the greater good of those they influence. Their family has lived in Johns Creek for thirteen years where Brett also serves as an elder at Perimeter Church and board member for Perimeter Christian School.

Megan Neel | Client Experience Rep

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Megan joined Encore Advisors in March of 2019 after an 18 year career at AT&T. She brings laughter and energy to our whole team, while managing and serving our clients well! Outside of the office she enjoys Netflix, live music, and stays busy at her home in Johns Creek, GA with her husband Josh and two children, Lily and Mason.

Luke Starkes | Broker & Client Experience Rep

Luke joined Encore Advisors in June of 2019 and lives in Brookhaven, GA. He is a 2019 graduate of UGA, a newly married husband to Macey, and lifelong Atlanta sports fan. When out of the office, Luke enjoys sports with his college buddies or watching the Bachelor with his wife. He seeks to glorify God in all that he does – inside and outside the world of insurance.

Jackie Brown | VP of Client Experience & Team Development

Jackie joined the Encore team in August of 2018 bringing her gifts of communication and organization to a new industry. She enjoys listening to identify client needs and finding solutions to best serve them and move them forward toward their goals. Born & raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Jackie has lived in Johns Creek with her husband and three children for the last ten years after moving around the world and back again. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling with her husband, cheering on her kids, reading non-fiction, and laughing at herself on the tennis court.

Our Story

Founded in 2007 by Brett and Nicole Lane, Encore Advisors is a boutique employee benefits broker that serves over 100 clients with employee counts ranging from under 10 to 1,000.

Our vision is to influence influencers (business owners and directors) towards the greater good of their team and work culture. We also aim, amid great change and uncertainty, to change the healthcare narrative by offering a positive conversation and experience.
